The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Ross Coakley replaced S.P. Davis on Total Demolition, trained by J.Larkin (Race 4)(injured)
D.E.Hogan replaced S.P. Davis on Abrahams Blessing, trained by R.P.Burns (Race 6)(injured)
A.J.Breslin replaced S.P. Davis on Attenzione, trained by S. Donohoe (Race 7)(injured)

151A Ballyduane Stud Claiming Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Optimystic, ridden by W.J. Lee, unplaced and Miss Ives, ridden by S.P. Davis,unseated. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of James M Barrett, trainer of Miss Ives, who accompanied S.P.Davis in the Stewards room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that W.J.Lee was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for seven race days.

151B Croom House Stud Rated Race

R.P. Cleary, rider of Kimbay, trained by Noel Lawlor, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran out of racing room in the straight.

D.M. Grant, rider of Handcrafted, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran out of racing room in the straight.

151D Grant Thornton H'cap

W.M. Lordan, rider of Wreckless, trained by Michael Hourigan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left.

151E Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Darkyila, ridden by C.P. Hoban, placed first, Eavesdrop, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed fourth, Remarkable Lady, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second and Sevilla (GB), ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed third. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of Daniel Kinane, representing A.P.O'Brien, trainer, who accompanied D.O'Brien in the Stewards room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Easy In Love (USA) trained by T. Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

151F Irishinjuredjockeys.com Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards interviewed D.E.Hogan, rider of Abrahams Blessing, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(b), in that he continued to use the whip when his chance had gone and having considered his record, cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.
