D.J. Mullins replaced P. Townend on Cool Colonnade, trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 4)(injured)
K.J. Brouder replaced S.W. Flanagan on Art Of Security, trained by Noel Meade (Race 6)(injured).

179A Free Racecourse WiFi (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined Oliver McKiernan, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Be Yourself, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Be Yourself in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

The Stewards fined Miss Denise Marie O'Shea, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Long Island Jenn, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Long Island Jenn in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. L. Walsh, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales that L.P. Gilligan, rider of Ard na Carraig, had presented himself at scales to ride at 2 Lbs overweight in this race, which was not declared in accordance with Rule 195 (i). Evidence was heard from the rider concerned and from Oliver McKiernan, trainer of Ard na Carraig. Having considered the evidence and L.P. Gilligan's record in this regard, the Stewards did not allow the overweight and ordered the substitution of the rider. The Stewards were satisfied that L.P. Gilligan was in breach of Rule 195 (i), and they therefore suspended him for 3 racedays in accordance with Rule 198 (vii) and reminded him of his future responsibilities in this regard. The Stewards granted permission for D.J. McInerney to replace L.P. Gilligan.

179C Limerick On Facebook (QR) H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed Mr S. Cavanagh, rider of Live Every Day, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. S. Cavanagh was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (i), in that he used his whip without giving his mount sufficient time to respond. Having considered his record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. S. Cavanagh for 1 raceday.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. L. Walsh , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr A.J. Fox , rider of Global Racing , weighed in at 1.5 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. A.J. Fox was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. L. Walsh , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr H.D. Dunne , rider of Bye Bye O Bye , weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. H.D. Dunne was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore cautioned him on this occasion having considered his previous record in this regard.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Absolute Grit trained by David Harry Kelly was lame post race.

Mr E.P. O'Brien, rider of Roxys Holly (GB) trained by Ray Hackett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran a bit keen.

Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Nibblers Charm trained by Ray Hackett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount flipped his pallet in the home straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Classic Concorde, trained by Andrew McNamara, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

179D Twilight Evenings At Limerick Nov S'chse

Patrick Joseph Hayes, trainer of Captain Commander, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped abnormally post race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the finishing line involving Cool Colonnade, ridden by D.J. Mullins and Or Jaune De Somoza (FR), ridden by Rachael Blackmore, where it appeared that Cool Colannade crossed in front of Or Jaune De Somoza. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to remind D.J. Mullins of his future responsibilities in this regard.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Plinth, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

179F Galway Races Galway Plate Trial Hcap Sch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ellie Mac, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

179G Racing Again July 25th H'cap S'chase

The Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the finishing line involving Ocean Glandore, ridden by Rachael Blackmore and Home Place, ridden by D. Meyler, where it appeared that Ocean Glandore crossed in front of Home Place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action other than to remind Rachel Blackmore of her future responsibilities in this regard.

B. Hayes, rider of Rock Road trained by Michael J. Bowe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up having lost action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rock Road, trained by Michael J. Bowe, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
