025B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the home straight involving Who's That, ridden by S.G. McDermott, winner, Leaders Questions, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed second, and Good As Gold (GB), ridden by J.M. Moore, placed fourth, where it appeared Leaders Questions suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges' placings and took no further action.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Pride Of The Braid, trained by John E. Kiely, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Elusive Ivy, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.N. Russell, rider of Pride Of The Braid, trained by John E. Kiely, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran disappointingly for no apparent reason.

025C Deloitte Novice H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Bellshill, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

025F Irish Gold Cup

D.N. Russell, rider of First Lieutenant, trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped very quickly and was noted to have sustained cuts to his lower chest area.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined First Lieutenant, trained by M.F. Morris, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have two skin cuts to the lower chest area but was otherwise post race normal.

The Stewards requested a report from John E. Kiely, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Carlingford Lough, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge had disappointed in the Lexus Chase here at Leopardstown on the 28th December but being ridden off the fast early pace today gave him a chance to gallop into the race in the closing stages. He added that in the past his charge had shown better form from this stage of the year onwards. Having considered the evidence the Stewards accepted the content of the report.

025H Leopardstown Membership(Pro-Am)Flat Race

Mr S. Crawford, rider of Smooth River trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly to the right during this race.

Michael G. Cleary, trainer of Tijuana Brass, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Wednesday 10th February that his charge was tied up post race.
