The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

W.M.Lordan replaced Michelle Hamilton on Mallory Heights, trained by Garvan Donnelly (Race 3)(injured)

061B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

Anastasia O'Brien, rider of Wild Irish Rose trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that she got no run in the straight.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Bound, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards enquired into the circumstances whereby Bound, trained by A.P.O'Brien, and ridden by J.A. Heffernan, had to be resaddled having appeared in the parade ring with the incorrect number cloth. Evidence was heard from the trainer's representative, Pat Keating and also from Mr. W.Fleming, Clerk of the scales. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards reminded all parties concerning their future responsibilities in this regard.

061C Bulmers Live At Leopardstown H'cap

The Stewards received a request from Garvan Donnelly, trainer of Mallory Heights, to substitute the nominated rider Michelle Hamilton, with Wayne Lordan, due to an injury. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that Michelle Hamilton sustained a leg injury, which necessitating her attending hospital today. He added that he made every effort to get a claiming rider but despite having phoned all the agents he was unable to get a claiming rider, to do such a light weight. Having considered the evidence and taken into account the exceptional circumstances the Stewards allowed the request.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Bien Chase trained by Lady Jane Gillespie, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was keen in the early stages and hung in the straight.

061D Heritage Stakes

C.D. Hayes, rider of Onenightidreamed trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.

061E JJ Kavanagh & Sons H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Bridgebrook (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was too free on the way to the start.
