The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

G.M.Ryan replaced L.T. McAteer on White Lotus, trained by J.S. Bolger (Race 6)(Stewards Permission)
C.D. Hayes replaced S.B. Kelly on Texas Katie (GB), trained by Ray Hackett (Race 6)(unwell)

121A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

P.J. Smullen, rider of Sunnyhill Lad, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost its action crossing the road and was subsequently pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sunnyhill Lad, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

121B Cliff At Lyons M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Nigg Bay, trained by John M. Oxx, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount reared in the stalls and missed the break.

121C Seamus/Rosemary McGrath MemSaval Beg Stk

D. O'Brien, rider of Motherland trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

121D Spirit Motor Group Apprentice H'cap

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Edge Of Reason (GB) trained by Garvan Donnelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount took a few lame steps pulling up.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Shukhov trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left from seven furlongs out.

Francis J. Flood, trainer of Alcander (FR), reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies that his charge was lame after this run.

121G Breast Cancer Ireland H'cap

The Stewards interviewed C.T. Keane, rider, in relation to the use of a mobile phone in the parade ring, prior to this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that C.T.Keane was in breach of Regulation 16 and having considered his clean record, cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.

C. O'Donoghue, rider of Boy Charlton trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled on the ground (good to firm,good in places).

D.M. Simmonson, rider of Surewhynot trained by Sabrina J. Harty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped in running.
