The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Gavin Cromwell, trainer of Ben Head (Late Withdrawal) - €200
Gordon Elliott, trainer of Sunsetstorise (Late Withdrawal) - €320

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B. Hayes replaced B.J. Cooper on Room To Roam, trained by Peter Fahey (Race 4)(Injured).
S. O' Keefe replaced B.J. Cooper on Quamino (GER), trained by Paul Nolan (Race 6)(injured)
Ms. A. Fahey replaced Mr R.P. Quinlan on Josie Abbing, trained by Peter Fahey (Race 7)(Injured)

355A Tote Pays Dividends M'dn H'dle

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Luis Van Zandt, trained by A.J.Martin, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

355B Thorntons Recycling M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Incredible Black trained by Luke Comer was lame post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Defy De Mee (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

355C Knight Frank Juvenile H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Coeur Sublime trained by Gordon Elliott was a faller at the last and lame on examination at pull up..

355D Sky Sports Racing Novice H'cap H'dle

The Stewards received a report from Mr. W. Fleming , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr D.T. Kelly , rider of Mystique Heights (GB) , presented to weigh out 3 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. D.T. Kelly was in breach of Rule 198 (vii) (a), in that he had weighed out over 2 lbs heavy which had not been declared. Having considered his previous record in this regard, the Stewards fined Mr. D.T. Kelly €150.

The Stewards interviewed Mr. J.R. Banahan, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, in relation to the false start in this race. Evidence was heard from Mr. J.R. Banahan, who stated that the riders approached him quicker than he had instructed, there were difficult horses in the field and in addition he heard one rider shouting NO! NO! N0!. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sir Benford Wales (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

355E Racing Post Novice S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mengli Khan, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

355F Bet Through Racing Post App H'cap S'ch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Arcenfete trained by Henry de Bromhead was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage post race.

355G Tote Supporting Irish Racing Flat Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Allaho (FR), ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins and Two Shoe Tom, ridden by Mr R. Deegan, where it appeared that Allaho ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. R. Deegan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended Mr. R. Deegan for 2 racedays.

Mr. R. Ryan, Chairman, absented himself from this enquiry which was chaired by Mr. J.P. Byrne.

The Stewards interviewed Mr F. Maguire, rider of Exit Poll, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. F. Maguire was in breach of Regulation 10. 3 (f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his previous record in this regard, the Stewards suspended Mr. F. Maguire for 2 racedays.
