The Stewards interviewed F.Birrane, trainer of Lightsome (GB), regarding the late arrival of the horse into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that the horse got very fractious and was difficult to saddle. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the trainer was in breach of Rule 32(ii) and having considered his record the trainer was fined €150 and reminded of his future responsibilities in this regard.

150E Oliver Brady Memorial Ballycorus Stakes

T.Hogan, trainer of Gordon Lord Byron, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped badly post race.

150F Shabra Charity H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Poker Gold (FR), trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a nasal discharge post race.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Poker Gold (FR), trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got very tired in the straight.

The Stewards tried to speak to M.C.Hussey regarding his riding of Trespassed, trained by Gordon Elliott. They were unable to do so as the rider had left the track at 8.44pm, five minutes after the winner all right had been given. The Stewards referred the matter under Rule 14(ii)(b) to the Chief Executive of The Turf Club for further investigation.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Trespassed, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be abnormal post race.

150G Leopardstown Rocks (Q.R.) M'dn

The Stewards informed Gavin Cromwell, trainer that Elusive Ivy, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
