The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C. P. McNamara replaced Gavin Peter Brouder on My Lovely Boy (GB), trained by Thomas P.O'Connor (Race 2)(Injured)

234A Get Racing TV For 12.50 Today M'dn Hdle

The Stewards fined E. Bolger, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Engelus (FR), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Engelus (FR) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

234B Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mickey Shea, trained by Denis W. Cullen, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R.A. Doyle, rider of Mickey Shea trained by Denis W. Cullen, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount found the ground too quick today.

234C Kerry Group H'cap H'dle

At the request of the Stewards, Mr A. McMahon, rider of Suinda, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped heels and he lost an iron which he was unable to get back in and he pulled up thereafter.

234F BoyleSports H'cap S'chase

R.M. Power, rider of The West's Awake trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very badly hampered jumping the fifth last, his saddle slipped and he was nearly brought down and eventually pulled up.

234G Beaufort Golf Club (Pr-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards fined S. Donohoe, trainer of Roman Dylan, €400 under Rule 194 for failing to fulfil his engagement or offer any excuse through a representative.

The Stewards interviewed Mr W.T. Cronin, rider of Celine Soprano, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Mr. W. T Cronin in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) and suspended Mr. W. T. Cronin for one raceday.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. L. Walsh , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr W.T. Cronin , rider of Celine Soprano , weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he drank a bottle of water after he weighed out. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. W. T. Cronin was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore cautioned him .
