The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.T. Keane rode High Altitude (reserve), trained by John Joseph Murphy (Race 3)

232B Celtic Steps M'dn

The Stewards informed D. K. Weld, trainer that Shareva, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Would Be King, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second and Vivianite, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed first, where it appeared Would Be King momentarily ran short of room on the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advice R. P. Whelan to ride with care in future.

232D Racing Post Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Harvestfortheworld, trained by J.A.Stack, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

232E1 Blacklion Dairy Group Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the stalls opened involving Storm Ranger, ridden by G.P. Halpin, The Bittern Cry, ridden by S.P. Davis, La Cumparsita, ridden by D.M. Redmond, New Identity, ridden by D.P. Linehan and Getaway Queen, ridden by K.J. Leonard, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that D.P. Linehan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended D.P. Linehan for 3 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed D.P. Linehan, rider of New Identity, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended D. P. Linehan for 3 racedays.

232E2 Blacklion Dairy Group Apprentice H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rosin Box, trained by John Joseph Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

D.M. Redmond, rider of Rosin Box trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action turning into the straight.
