The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Gordon Elliott, trainer of Georges Conn (late withdrawal) - €200

228A Seamusweldon.com M'dn H'dle

D.E. Mullins, rider of Camlann trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped big.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Lyreen Des Pres trained by Thomas Cooper, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped in running.

The Stewards fined Eugene M. O'Sullivan, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Kicker King, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

228B Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice H'dle

R.M. Power, rider of Sandymount Duke trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and felt lifeless.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sandymount Duke, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

228C McSweeney Arms Hotel H'cap H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Valyssa Monterg (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

228E International Hotel Beginners S'chase

N.P. Madden, rider of Show And Go, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped slowly.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of My Direction (GB) trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount made a bad mistake and the bridle became dislodged.

228F MSL Cork Mercedes-Benz H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed R.C. Colgan, rider of Harangue, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he used the whip with excessive frequency and having considered his record, suspended him for four race days.

R. Walsh, rider of Balnaslow trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action and was pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Art Of Logistics, at the request of trainer, Ms. Sandra Hughes, and reported the animal to be post race normal.
