The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.E. Mullins rode Queen Khaleesi (reserve) , trained by Patrick Neville (Race 4)
C.D. Maxwell rode Kick On Boss (reserve) , trained by Paul Power (Race 6)
R. Walsh replaced R.M. Power on Fine Theatre, trained by Paul Nolan (Race 6)(Injury)

107A Sheila Mac Kelliher M'dn H'dle

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Impact Player, trained by R.P. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount burst blood vessels and pulled up.

The Stewards informed Gerard Quirk, trainer of Earthly Reason, that a repeat of this horse's unruly behaviour in the parade ring and at the start may render this horse liable to a suspension in future.

The Stewards interviewed D.F. O'Regan, rider of Harold Peto, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found D.F. O'Regan in breach of Reg. 10. 3.(a) (down shoulder in forehand) and having taken his clean record into account, the Stewards cautioned him.

107B Kelly Brothers Sliabh Luachra H'dle

R. Walsh, rider of Arbre De Vie (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount needs further.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Arbre De Vie (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

107C Killarney Racecourse H'cap H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Brave Out trained by John E. Kiely, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake at the last hurdle on the first circuit, he lost irons and pulled up.

107D M.D.O'Shea & Sons Mares M'dn H'dle

P.T. Enright, rider of Red Pearl trained by Stephen Ryan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise turning in.

R. Walsh, rider of Wilms Warrior trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly.

M.A. Enright, rider of Angelica Yeats trained by John Neilan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he dismounted after the line as his mount went lame.

107E McSweeney Arms Hotel An Riocht S'chase

L.P. Dempsey, rider of Mr Diablo, trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount finished lame.

107F Finbarr Slattery National H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed Paul Power, trainer, regarding a request to nominate C.D. Maxwell to ride reserve, Kick On Boss, in this race despite having nominated P.T. Enright prior to the closure of the card. Evidence was heard from the trainer and P.T. Enright. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the change of rider and took no further action.
