The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

J.A. Nash, trainer of Scheu Time (Off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M.P. Walsh replaced K.C. Sexton on Ballyhubbock, trained by Francis J. Flood (Race 1)(Unwell)
M.A. Enright rode Lareena (FR) (reserve) , trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 4)
Katie O'Farrell replaced M.A. Enright on Swift, trained by John W. Nicholson (Race 7)(Injured)

110A Sika Signs M'dn H'dle

The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Desert Grey, ridden by D.G. Hogan, and trained by Denis Gerard Hogan. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. D.G. Hogan, stated that he jumped off handy in the first three or four. He felt he did not jump well enough throughout the race and the pace was false as there was no gallop. He had no where to go entering the straight as all the horses were bunching and stayed on in the straight. He expressed himself satisfied with the horse considering the way he jumped and the doubt about his ability to stay. The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who reported the horse to be post race normal. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Desert Grey, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

110B Killarney Towers Hotel M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Balisko (FR), trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Winter Soldier (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

110C Killarney Oils (Mares) H'dle

R.C. Colgan, rider of Shimmer's Rock trained by P. E. Collins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up as the ground was too quick.

110D Redweld Stables H'cap H'dle

The Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, Dr. Lynn Hillier , concerning the fact that the vaccinations contained in the Passport for Gran Geste (Fr), trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle were incorrect. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned and Dr. Lynn Hillier. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Gran Geste (FR) under the provisions of Rule 90 and fined the trainer €350. The matter was referred to the Chief Executive of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board for further investigation. .

Rachael Blackmore, rider of True Self, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount got tight for room down the back straight but of no consequence.

110H Jim Ryan Services (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards received a report from Dr. Lynn Hillier, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, that she was unable to positively identify Subset, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, from the markings contained in the passport presented for this horse. Evidence was heard from the trainer's authorised represenatative, Michael Molloy and the Irish horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary officer. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Subset under the provisions of Rule 90 and referred the matter to The Chief Executive of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board for further investigation.
