251A Summer Party Pack Opportunity M'dn H'dle

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iv), the Stewards allowed Lord In Red (GER), trained by Noel Meade, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Rimshot trained by R.Donohoe was Reported by the trainer as being distressed post race.

251B Pat Doyle Memorial M'dn H'dle

The Stewards interviewed Ms. Rebecca Flynn, authorised representative of Paul W. Flynn, trainer, following a report from the Irish Horse Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, Mr. A. Tyrrell, that the markings of Lisclogher Flyer could not be positively identified from his passport. Evidence was heard from the authorised representative concerned who stated that there are longstanding errors on the passport which have not been rectified by the issuing body despite numerous requests to be amended. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards informed Ms. Flynn that Lisclogher Flyer would be withdrawn under the provisions of Rule 90 and that the matter would be referred to the CEO of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board for further investigation.

The Stewards requested a report from T.M. Walsh, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Kildorrery, placed first, as compared with its recent form. T.M. Walsh stated that his charge is a difficult type who normally runs too free which causes problems. On today's run he also ran very free but was dropped in earlier and this tactic aided his charge on this occassion. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

251C Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iv), the Stewards allowed Wee Tiger, trained by Ray Hackett, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

R.P. Treacy, rider of Fleurys Fort trained by L.Young, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost action and pulled up.

T.N. Brett, rider of The Ballyboys trained by Ray Hackett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped in running and he pulled up thereafter.

Mr L. Quinlan, rider of Royal Presenting trained by Shane Ryder, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Keady Lady trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

The Stewards interviewed Mr E. Mahon, rider of Se Mo Laoch, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. E. Mahon was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (f), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency, and Regulation 10.4, in that he used his whip without giving his mount time to respond. Having considered his previous record, the Stewards suspended Mr. E. Mahon for seven (7) racedays and reminded him of his future responsibilities in this regard.

251E Midland Breeders Supp Kilbeggan Beg.S'ch

R.C. Colgan, rider of Ballybrowney Jack (FR) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

J.S. McGarvey, rider of Plouios trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Big Robin trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount slipped jumping the second fence and was very deliberate thereafter.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ballybrowney Jack (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

251F Sky Sports Racing In 2019 H'cap S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from Henry de Bromhead, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Full Cry, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Henry de Bromhead stated that his charge pulled up on his previous run having found the pace too quick and the distance too sharp. Mr. de Bromhead added that the longer distance today in addition to being top weight suited his charge better and explained the improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Stewards interviewed C.D. Maxwell, rider of Freewheelin Dylan, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that C.D. Maxwell was in breach of Regulation 10.4, in that he used his whip without giving his mount time to respond, and having considered his record in this regard cautioned him on this occasion.

M.J. Bolger, rider of Carlitos Bay trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up.

251G September Meeting (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards fined Norman Cassidy, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Cascade D'amour, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Cascade D'amour in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv).

T.N. Brett, rider of Rock On Bennie trained by Ray Hackett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with strong interference coming into the back straight.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Wonderful Woman trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.
