The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

G.N. Fox rode Jensen (reserve), trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin (Race 2)

192A Tom McCormack Memorial Cup (M) Mdn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Presentingprincess, trained by Mrs D.A.Love, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood on the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Presentingprincess trained by Mrs D.A.Love, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount made a mistake and stopped quickly thereafter.

192B Coola M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tree Of Knowledge, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on the right front post race.

192D Best Dressed Lady Competition H'cap H'dl

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Bee A Beneficiary, ridden by D. Meyler, placed first, Ourmanmassini, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed third and Randall's Aoibhinn, ridden by M.J. Bolger, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference caused was accidental, they therefore made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

G.N. Fox, rider of Le Braye trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

Ian O'Connor, trainer of Bere Haven, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board on Tuesday 24th July that his charge has had a wind operation since this run.

192E Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners S'ch

L.P. Gilligan, rider of Samantha Bellamy trained by Brian Francis Cawley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Samantha Bellamy, trained by Brian Francis Cawley, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

192F Midlands National H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed Mr S. Cavanagh, rider of Newsworthy, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Mr. S. Cavanagh for 1 raceday.
