The Stewards requested a report from Paul John Gilligan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Glenwood For Ever, placed first, as compared with it's recent form. The trainer reported that his charge had disappointed on his previous run on heavy ground and felt that today's drying ground conditions had brought about the improved performance. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Stewards fined Paul John Gilligan, €350 for failing to lodge a passport in respect of winning horse Glenwood For Ever, in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(vi).
