The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A. Ring replaced D.J. Mullins on Steamboat Bill, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 6)(Stewards Permission)

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Shinghari, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

D.G. Hogan, rider of Shinghari, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran flat.

The Stewards interviewed K.M. Donoghue, rider of Canny Tom, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he used the whip with excessive frequency and having considered his clean record, cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.

215C Pig 'N' Whistle Pubs H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference after the final hurdle involving Wee Small Hours, ridden by D.J. Hand, placed first, The Trigger, ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed second and Authorative, ridden by C. Brassil, placed third. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action.

215D Summer Party Pack Group Booking Mdn Hdle

R.A. Doyle, rider of Eau De Horse trained by I. Madden, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was kicking out at the start.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Boston Spray, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

215E Kieran Kelly Memorial Beginners S'chase

D.E. Mullins, rider of Last Encounter trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Last Encounter, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

215G Book Online For Discounts INH Flat Race

The Stewards fined John Joseph Hanlon, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Shankill Castle (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
