The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

100A BetVictor M'dn

The Stewards interviewed L.F. Roche, rider of Desert Viper, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(f) (force) and (g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

The Stewards interviewed K.J. Manning, rider of Tham Luang, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) (frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

100B Paulstown H'cap

The Stewards interviewed L.T. McAteer, rider of Reeking Havoc, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Sestriere trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got checked one and a half furlongs out.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kinch, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Nakakande, ridden by B.M. Coen, and Sestriere, ridden by C.D. Hayes, where it appeared Sestriere checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Coen gave his evidence in the presence of Mr. A. McCann. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found B.M. Coen in breach of Rule 214 through careless riding and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

100C BetVictor H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from S.M.Duffy, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Molly Kaye (GB), placed second, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that he possibly ran back this mare too quickly at Clonmel last time having left only six days between that and her run at Ballinrobe. He also stated that tonight's easier ground was more favourable than the going at Clonmel last time. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

100E Irish Stallion Farms EBF (F) M'dn

The Stewards informed Gerard O'Leary, trainer that Newgirlintown, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Coolbawn Magic, trained by R.Donohoe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right in the straight.

100G2 Racing Again Gowran Park 29th May H'cap

K.J. Leonard, rider of Fast On trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left out of the gate.
