The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

R. K. Watson, trainer of Celtic Thunder (declared in error) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R. Blackmore replaced B. Hayes on Mustadaam, trained by John Joseph Hanlon (Race 1)(injured)
S.A. Shorthall replaced Rachael Blackmore on Ayelya, trained by John Joseph Hanlon (Race 1)(stewards permission)
D.J. Mullins replaced B. Hayes on Vincent Row, trained by John Joseph Hanlon (Race 3)(injured)
D.N. Russell replaced B. Hayes on Goulane Chosen, trained by David J. McGrath (Race 5)(injured)

043A Join Us Kilkenny GAA Day Mar19th Mdn Hdl

P.T. Enright, rider of Coeur De Lion (FR) trained by Robert Tyner, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly.

043B Best Of Luck To The Irish Mdn Hdle

D.N. Russell, rider of Talented Kid (GB), trained by Miss Evanna McCutcheon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly and was pulled up.

043C Gowran Park Golf Captains H'cap H'dle

D.E. Splaine, rider of Cantkidakidder trained by N Dooly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

043E Coolmeen Gallops Beginners S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from Paul Nolan, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Fine Theatre, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on his last start when pulling up, having never travelled. He added that the horse travelled better today on the heavy going in first time blinkers. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

043G Raceday Packages P-To-P INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr P.D. Collins, rider of Consharon Boy, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he used the whip with excessive frequency and having considered his record, cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.
