R.P. Cleary rode Siempre Amigos (reserve) , trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 4)
C.J. McGovern rode Miss Ballygally (reserve) , trained by Mark Michael McNiff (Race 5)

134A Ladies Day June 24th (C&G) M'dn

The Stewards requested a report from Edward Lynam, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Onlyhuman, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Ms Ailenn Lynam, Authorised representative for the trainer reported that this gelding got very upset and ran green on good to firm ground when running at Leopardstown on the 7th May. Today the animal settled very well in the preliminaries and was suited by the soft to heavy ground conditions. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

134B ISF EBF Median Auction (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards fined R.P. McNamara, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Nice To Sea, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

134C Gowran Park Golf Club H'cap

Karen Kenny, rider of Masterstonemason trained by F.Costello, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount met with some interference in the early part of this race.

S. Foley, rider of A Beautiful Dream trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled on leaving the stalls and never travelled on the ground.

134D Festival Of Speed July 16th H'cap

P.J. Smullen, rider of Heartful, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly having travelled well early on.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Heartful, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D. K. Weld, trainer of Heartful, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge swallowed her tongue during this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined One Liner (GB), at the request of trainer, Mrs John Harrington, and reported the animal to be post race normal.

134E1 Family Fun Day June 25th Apprentice Hcap

The Stewards granted permission for Gold Eliza, trained by Damian Joseph English, to run in this race without the declared tongue strap as the filly had become very fractious in the preliminaries.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Sarah Ash Calum trained by P.Meany, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and ran flat during this race.

134E2 Family Fun Day June 25th Apprentice Hcap

The Stewards interviewed D.P. Linehan, rider of Storm Ranger, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that D.P. Linehan was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency and R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond to the whip and having taken his previous record into consideration, suspended him for 2 racedays.

134F Kilkenny Senior Hurlers June 24th H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Gymkhana (GB), trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Acting Stewards in consultation with the Clerk of the Course granted permission for the distance of the first four races to be reduced by 22yards to 1 mile 1 furlong and 78 yards owing to the ground conditions in the area of the original start.
