The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

J. S. Bolger, trainer of McGuigan (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.P. Hoban rode Annie Irish (reserve), trained by R.Donohoe (Race 5).

129A Gowran Park Claiming Race

G.P. Halpin, rider of Elusive In Paris trained by Miss Ellmarie Holden, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount finished sore.

129B Thomastown H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from J.S. Bolger, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Admodum (USA), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Ger Flynn, authorised representative for the trainer, reported that Admodum (USA) had disappointed in the past when failing to get involved. He said the animal switched off early today and was ridden wide in plenty of light, in what he felt was a lesser race and felt this had helped to bring about the apparent improvement improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

S. Foley, rider of Yamato, trained by M.Halford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got held up in the straight.

Damian Joseph English, trainer of Red Avenger (USA), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was found to be lame post race.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Shifted Strategy, trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount may appreciate a shorter trip.

129E Kilkenny Hurlers Race Day June 23rd Hcap

The Stewards fined A. Oliver, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the correct equipment to Full Disclosure(Ire) on entering the parade ring.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Challow, trained by T.G.McCourt, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

129F Helmet Day June 4th H'cap

W.J. Lee, rider of Bien Chase, trained by Adrian McAllister, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not come down the hill and was eased.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Jackmel trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost both front shoes.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bien Chase, trained by Adrian McAllister, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame post race.

129G Gowran Park (Fillies) M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Tough Spirit trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very green, hit a ridge and changed legs close to the line.

L.F. Roche, rider of Clique (GB) trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped right leaving the stalls.
