The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C. D. Hayes rode Let It Go Papa (reserve) , trained by Adrian Paul Keatley (Race 6)

379A Gowran Park Golf Club (C&G) M'dn

W.J. Lee, rider of Mr Whoppit trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls, stumbled, lost his action and was pulled up thereafter.

C.P. Hoban, rider of Whatharm, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was outpaced throughout.

379C(i) Buy Tickets Online H'cap (Division One)

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Amazing One (GB), trained by T.J. O'Mara, for failing to lodge the passport in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

C.T. Keane, rider of Tomwontlisten, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got unbalanced half a furlong out.

K.J. Manning, rider of Bouquet Garni, trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount became unbalanced in the closing stages.

S. Foley, rider of Midnitemudcrabs trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount found the ground too fast.

379C(ii) Buy Tickets Online H'cap (Division Two)

The Stewards fined Eoin Christopher McCarthy, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Intense Starlet, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Intense Starlet in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(iv).

W.M. Lordan, rider of Cracking Name trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran off the first bend.

S.P. Davis, rider of Baby Power trained by Garry Caldwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action after the 2 furlong pole.

379D I.S.F. EBF Victor McCalmont Memor.Stakes

The Stewards interviewed Mrs. John Harrington, trainer of I'm So Fancy, under the provisions of Rule 19(ii), in relation to the late arrival of her charge to the Racecourse. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who explained the circumstances surrounding the late arrival of her charge and apologised for this. Having considered the evidence, the fact that the passport was lodged as required on time, and a report from the from the I.H.R.B Veterinary Officer, Ms. Joan Taylor, that the animal was not compromised by the late arrival, the Stewards allowed I'm So Fancy to run and reminded the trainer of her future responsibilities in this regard. Mr. Philip F. Myerscough, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.

D. O'Brien, rider of Clear Skies (GB) trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was stopped many times in the straight.

C. O'Donoghue, rider of I'm So Fancy trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled her near hind shoe and was hanging both left and right.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Bella Estrella, ridden by L.F. Roche, placed fourth, Clear Skies (GB), ridden by D. O'Brien, placed second, I'm So Fancy, ridden by C. O'Donoghue, placed third and Turret Rocks, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed first, where it appeared Clear Skies (GB) ran short of room on the running rail and subsequently Bella Estrella(Ire) ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action.

379E Gowran Park Golf Open Singles H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident early in the home straight involving New Vocation, ridden by K.J. Manning, Pak Army, ridden by R.P. Whelan and Let It Go Papa, ridden by C.D. Hayes, where it appeared New Vocation ran short of room and was checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental and took no further action.

S.P. Davis, rider of Scorpion Black trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he lost his iron leaving the stalls.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Pak Army trained by J.R. Barry, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

S. Foley, rider of Survival Mode trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hit a ridge in the straight and became unbalanced.

K.J. Manning, rider of Park Bloom trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her off fore shoe crossing the road.

379G Follow Gowran Park On Facebook H'cap

R.P. Cleary, rider of Torthai An Ghra trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount had a slight slip on the first bend.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Trump Card, ridden by W.J. Lee, Oromo, ridden by R.C. Colgan and Trissino, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, where it appeared Oromo ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

C. O'Donoghue, rider of Bobeska trained by Kevin F.O'Donnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount whistled in running.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Oromo trained by Karl Thornton, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was flat out all the way.
