The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

David Harry Kelly, trainer of Deise Days (Declared in error) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.P. Linehan rode New Identity (reserve), trained by W.J. Martin (Race 5)

294B Thomastown (Fillies) Median Auction M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Acca Laurentia, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung to the left in the straight.

294C www.gowranpark.ie H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Jaguar Paw, trained by D.M. Christie, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stood in the stalls when the gates opened and broke slowly.

294D Gowran Park Racing Club Nursery H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cul An Ti, trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards requested a report from C.Roche, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of What About Bob, placed first, as compared with its recent form. C. Roche stated that the application of first time blinkers must have had the desired affect and could not offer any other reason for this surprise victory. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

294E Like Gowran Park On Facebook H'cap

The Stewards interviewed M.A. Gallagher, rider of Not A Bad Oul Day, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that M.A. Gallagher was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency and having taken his previous record into consideration suspended him for 1 raceday.

K.P. Moriarty, rider of Prince Jock (USA) trained by Albert Moriarty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Prince Jock (USA), trained by Albert Moriarty, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

294F Gowran Park Golf Memberships 2017 H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Mydor (FR), trained by A.J.
Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. .

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Lazio trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having gone lame behind.
