The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. Meyler rode Bard Of Armagh (GB) (reserve), trained by A.J.Martin (Race 1).
M.A. Enright rode Prince Charmin' (reserve), trained by A.J.Martin (Race 2).
Ms. K. Walsh rode Madurai (GER) (reserve), trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 2).
C.T. Keane rode Bubbly Bellini (reserve), trained by Adrian McGuinness (Race 5).
C.D. Hayes rode Divin Desir (FR) (reserve), trained by I.Madden (Race 6).
P.T. Enright replaced D.J. McInerney on Fly De Megaudais (FR), trained by Michael J. McDonagh (Race 1)(unwell).

205A O'Leary Insurances M'dn H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Ochto Milano trained by Garrett James Power was found to have blood at the nose following Exercise Induced Pulmonary Haemorrhage.

205B Galway Shopping Centre H'cap H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Tellthemnuttin, trained by W.F. Codd, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

205C Galway Shopping Centre Irish EBF M'dn

Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer of Rhythm Of Love, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that the saddle slipped on his charge early in this race.

205F Terry Cunningham Memorial H'cap

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Detailed, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he was forced to check his mount in the closing stages when a loose horse carried him wide.

The Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the bend past the stands involving Dalton Highway, ridden by P.J. Smullen, Nearly Famous (GB), ridden by T.P. Madden, Repare Mon, ridden by C.D. Hayes, and Boom Or Bush, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, where it appeared Boom Or Bush struck the running rail, unseating the rider. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action. H. Rodgers, trainer of Boom Or Bush accompanied D.E. Sheehy at this enquiry.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Divin Desir (FR) trained by I.Madden, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too free.

205G Galway Centre Irish EBF INH(M) Flat Race

The Stewards fined Paul W. Flynn, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Bee A Beneficiary, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
