The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Eoin Doyle, trainer of The Winkler (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.P. Cleary rode Tribal Path (reserve) , trained by Damian Joseph English (Race 3)
A. Ring, replaced D.R. Fox on Vengeur de Guye (FR), trained by Lucinda Russell (in GB) (Race 5)(injured).

205A Martinstown Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed C.D. Timmons, rider of Afatcat(GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of both Regulation 10.3.(f), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency and Regulation 4 in that he had failed to give his mount sufficient time to respond. Having taken his previous good record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for one race day.

205C Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Ahonoora' Hcap

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Baraweez, ridden by D.M. Redmond, placed fifth, Have A Nice Day (GB), ridden by D.M. Simmonson, placed seventh, Dream Walker (FR), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed first and Reckless Endeavour, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that C.D. Hayes was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for one race day.

205F JPK Fencing H'cap

The Stewards fined M.O. Cullinane, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Jazz Ranger, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

205G Kenny Galway EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Mounira, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
