W.J. Lee, rider of Masonbrook Lady, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount missed the break.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the dip involving Brendan Brackan, ridden by R.P. Downey, placed fifth, Stay De Night, ridden by P.J. Smullen, unplaced, Baraweez, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed second and Intensical, ridden by K.J. Manning, unplaced. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, in the presence of Garvin Donnelly, trainer, who accompanied D.O'Brien in the Stewards room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that D.O'Brien was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for three race days.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the dip involving Jack's Revenge, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed sixth, Unsinkable, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed third and Third Dimension (GB), ridden by C. O'Donoghue, placed fourth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that C.T.Keane was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for one race day.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Stay De Night trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference in the dip.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Stay De Night, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Winter Lion trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered in the dip.

W.J. Lee, rider of Down Time (USA) trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference in the dip.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the dip involving Heartbreak City (FR), ridden by S.A. Shortall, placed third, Winter Lion, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced and Esharaat, ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that S.A.Shorthall was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for one race day.

The Stewards interviewed W.J. Lee, rider of B Cosmos, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he used the whip with excessive force and frequency and having considered his record, suspended him for 1 raceday.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Valac, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly before the turn into the straight.
