The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S. Foley rode Noble Intention (reserve) , trained by A.J.Martin (Race 4)
D. W. O'Connor replaced D.E. Sheehy on Byron Beauty, trained by H.Rogers (Race 6)(Stewards permission)
D.E. Sheehy rode Big Bad Sal (reserve) , trained by H.Rogers (Race 6)(Stewards permission)
A.J. Slattery replaced S.P. Davis on Land Of Grace, trained by Lee Smyth (Race 7)(Unwell)

264B Donnellys Of Barna Rated Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Implement, trained by K.J. Condon, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

S. Foley, rider of Implement trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that for the entire race his mount was unable to handle the heavy ground conditions.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Georgian Bay, trained by Adrian McGuinness, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

264C James P. Cunningham Electrical H'cap

The Stewards fined J. S. Bolger, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Vocal Relation, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Vocal Relation in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv).

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Insignia Of Rank, trained by Joseph G. Murphy, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Giorni Felice, trained by Edward Lynam, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Our Anniversary (FR), trained by Mrs D.A.Love, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed All The Mollies, trained by Mrs D.A.Love, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

The Stewards requested a report from H.Rogers, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Gentil J, placed first, as compared with its recent form. H. Rogers reported that this filly has ability but also has a mind of her own. In his opinion she resented the application of blinkers at Listowel last week and only ran on in the closing stages to finish in mid division. She had previously failed to act when tried with cheek pieces. In relation to her second last run at Roscommon he reported that his charge missed the break. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

264D Ir.Stallion Farms EBF Med.Auct. (F) M'dn

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Balrath Picollo, trained by Gavin Cromwell, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Ulookinatmeboy trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was awkward out of stalls.

264E Ardilaun Hotel Oyster Stakes

The Stewards interviewed G.F. Carroll, rider of Princess Yaiza, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that G.F. Carroll was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken into consideration his previous record, the Stewards suspended G.F. Carroll for 2 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed L.F. Roche, rider of Bongiorno, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that L.F. Roche was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken into consideration his previous record, the Stewards suspended L.F. Roche for 2 racedays.

264F Galway Apprentice H'cap

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Flindt, trained by Mrs D.A.Love, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iv), the Stewards allowed Scealai Aonair, trained by Gordon Elliott, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Danegeld (GB), trained by J. Morrison, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

264G Sean Cleary Memorial (Fillies) M'dn

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Bridge Native, trained by Mrs D.A.Love, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Lady Carleton, trained by Daniel John Howard, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

The Stewards interviewed D. O'Brien, rider of Cascabel (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that D. O'Brien was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended D. O'Brien for 1 raceday.
