The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Matthew J. Smith, trainer of It Takes Time (Unable to locate passport) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S. F. O,Keeffe replaced D.F. O'Regan on Stormey, trained by S.J.Mahon (Race 6)(Injured).
R. M. Power replaced D.F. O'Regan on Pistol Shoot, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 7)(Injured)
C. D. Timmons replaced L. Quinlan on He Rock's, trained by S.J.Mahon (Race 7)(Unwell).
D. E Browne replaced P.J. McGrath on Cash In Mind (FR), trained by John C. McConnell (Race 5)(Unwell).
R. P. Tracey replaced C. Brassil on Galros Jimmy, trained by Mrs. Y. Dunleavy (Race 1)(Stewards Permission).
N. P. Madden replaced C. Brassil on It's Only A Number, trained by Francis J. Flood (Race 6)(Stewards Permission)

262A Kenny Developments M'dn H'dle

L.P. Gilligan, rider of Tribal Story trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fourth last and hung left thereafter.

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Hellenic Fire, trained by Michael E Hallinan, for failing to lodge the passport in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

262D Deacy Gilligan Irish EBF (Mares) H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Great White Shark (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a couple of bad mistakes and was distressed post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Great White Shark (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race and showing signs of post race heat stress.

D.J. Mullins, rider of Nameloc trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake at the first and was pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jazz Ranger, trained by James Andrew Fahey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

262F Win Big With Tote Beginners S'chase

The Stewards wished to interview P.E. Corbett, rider of Charlie Stout, concerning his frequent use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. P. E. Corbett confirmed to the stewards that he had three previous breeches of Regulation 10 since the new whip rules came into effect. Having considered the riders acceptance of his disciplinary record in relation to Regulation 10, the Stewards referred the matter to the referrals Committee for consideration under the provisions of Regulation 10.6.

262G Kenny Developments H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Persian Wind, trained by J.P. Dempsey, was found to have blood on both nostrils possibly as a result of falling.

The Stewards interviewed C. D. Timmons, rider of He Rock's, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that C. D. Timmons was in breach of Regulation 10.3. (g) (frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 3 racedays.

J.J. Slevin, rider of Ballybrowney Jack (FR) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered and refused.
