284A Mervue M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined G.T.Lynch, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Rock On Barney, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

284B Galway City & Salthill Rated Novice Hdle

The Stewards interviewed B.J. Foley, rider of All's Quiet, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that B.J. Foley was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip above shoulder height and having taken his recent record into consideration, they suspended him for 4 racedays and referred him to R.A.C.E for one days tuition on the correct use of the whip.

284D Ryans Cleaning S'chase

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Arbre De Vie (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race.

284F Guinness H'cap S'chase

R. Walsh, rider of Bosman Rule trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never jumped and never travelled throughout this race.

284G Jamie Kyne Memorial INH Flat Race

The Stewards fined Peter Fahey, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Ididitmyway, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
