The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.P. McDonogh rode Ar Saoirse (GB) (reserve), trained by David Marnane (Race 5).

The Stewards enquired into possible interference the closing stages involving Lethal Turbo, ridden by C. O'Donoghue, placed second, Count D'orsay, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed sixth, Heavenly Rainbow, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first and Friars Walk, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed fourth, where it appeared interference had taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings. They were, however, of the opinion that C.O'Donoghue was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Stewards enquired into an incident about two furlongs from the winning post involving Dark Conqueror ridden by R.C. Colgan, Heavenly Rainbow ridden by C.T. Keane, Mister Kipling ridden by G.P. Brouder, Hyde Park Corner ridden by C.D. Hayes and Rhosgobel ridden by L.F. Roche. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action. Mr. Jody McGrath absented himself from this enquiry and Mr. G.V Magee acted as Chairman.

The Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the bend involving Gunslinger, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, Beau Warrior, ridden by W.M. Lordan, Cruella Dovil, ridden by S. Foley, Hyde Park Corner, ridden by C.D. Hayes, Friars Walk, ridden by R.P. Cleary and Palabres, ridden by S.P. Davis. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that S.Foley was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his previous record in this regard, they suspended him for 2 racedays. Mr. Jody McGrath absented himself from this enquiry and Mr. G.V. Magee acted as chairman.

C.T. Keane, rider of Heavenly Rainbow trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped early in this race.

C. O'Donoghue, rider of Lethal Turbo trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran green in the last two furlongs.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Count D'orsay trained by Charles O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was checked in running.

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Gunslinger trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran green through out.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Hyde Park Corner trained by Thomas Cooper, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was struck into in running.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Friars Walk trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference.

The Stewards informed M.Halford, trainer, that Roman Gal, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

130F Fairyhouse June 15th Apprentice H'cap

D.E. Sheehy, rider of House Limit, trained by J.Larkin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount anticipated the start and was unseated after the stalls opened.
