The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Michael O'Hare, trainer of Montana Slim (Late withdrawal, change in going) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.J. Geraghty replaced M.P. Walsh on Give Me A Break, trained by Michael Hourigan (Race 7)(Intended mount a non runner).
J.J. Burke replaced David Bass on Emily Gray, trained by Kim Bailey (in GB) (Race 6)(Flight delayed)
B.J. Geraghty replaced M.P. Walsh on Slowmotion (FR), trained by A.P.O'Brien (Race 1)(Intended mount a non runner)
B.J. Geraghty replaced M.P. Walsh on Another Hero, trained by Jonjo O'Neill (in GB) (Race 5)(Intended mount a non runner)
M.P. Walsh replaced N.P. Madden on Cantlow, trained by E. Bolger (Race 5)(Stewards permission)

The Stewards interviewed Harry Skelton, rider of Value At Risk (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that H. Skelton was in breach of R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond to the whip and consequently cautioned him.

Alan Fleming, trainer of Gwencily Berbas (FR), reported to the Stewards that his charge was distressed post race

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Gwencily Berbas (FR), trained by Alan Fleming, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

D.N. Russell, rider of Taglietelle (GB) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

Alan Fleming, trainer of Gwencily Berbas (FR), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries on Tuesday 29th March that his charge scoped wrong post race

The Stewards interviewed R. Walsh, rider of Bless The Wings, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that R. Walsh was in breach of R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond to the whip and consequently suspended him for 1 raceday having taken his previous record into consideration.

The Stewards interviewed G.N. Fox, rider of Rogue Angel, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that G.N. Fox was in breach of R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond to the whip and consequently suspended him for 1 raceday having taken his previous record into consideration.

Andrew Lynch, trainer of Jarob (GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge burst a blood vessel during this race.

Patrick Griffin, trainer of Portrait King, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday 29th March that his charge did not handle the ground and therefore wouldn't let himself down on it. He hung badly left in the last 4 furlongs.

The Stewards interviewed Alan Fleming, trainer of Blue Bicycle (USA), in relation to his request to withdraw his charge at 4.41 p.m. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that his runners yesterday and today had disappointed and consequently he had concerns about the well being of his horses and did not want to risk running this animal. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed Alan Fleming to withdraw Blue Bicycle (USA) but imposed a fine of €200 for the late withdrawal of his charge.

The Stewards enquired into an incident between the last 2 fences involving Milanesque, ridden by R.M. Power, Flynsini, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, and Glenwood For Ever, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, where it appeared Milanesque and Flynsini suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Rachael Blackmore was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly and consequently suspended her for 2 racedays having taking her clean record into consideration.

The Stewards interviewed Mr B. Browne, rider of On The Shannon, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr B. Browne was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency, R10(3)(a) by hitting his mount in front of the saddle with his whip in the forehand position and R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond to the whip. The Stewards consequently suspended Mr B. Browne for 7 racedays having taken his previous recent record into consideration and instructed him to attend R.A.C.E for one days tuition on the correct use of the whip.

A.L.T.Moore, trainer of Ballycahane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was pulled up after the saddle had slipped during the early part of this race.

Paul John Gilligan, trainer of Glenwood For Ever, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday 29th march that his charge burst a blood vessel in this race.
