The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

N.P. Madden replaced Miss A.B. O'Connor on Auvergnat (FR), trained by E. Bolger (Race 6)(Injury)
D.J. Mullins replaced J.M. Moore on Mac N Cheese, trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 7)(Injury)
A.W. Short replaced M.A. Enright on Chief Of Panama, trained by Liam P Cusack (Race 7)(Injury)

080A Farmhouse Foods Novice H'cap H'dle

M.A. Enright, rider of One In All In trained by Gearoid O'Loughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled a shoe in-running.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Quantatmental, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled a shoe but was otherwise post race normal.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference on the run to the line involving Kuiper Belt (USA), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed second, The Holy One, ridden by P.D. Kennedy, placed first and Jon Ess, ridden by R.A. Doyle, placed third. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. They did however find P.D. Kennedy in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.

The Stewards interviewed J.W. Kennedy, rider of Kuiper Belt (USA), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race where he appeared to hit his horse down the shoulder with his whip in the forehand position. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards accepted the rider's explanation that exceptional circumstances prevailed and took no further action.

Doyle, rider of Jon Ess, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race where he appeared to hit his horse down the shoulder with his whip in the forehand position. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards accepted the rider's explanation that exceptional circumstances prevailed and took no further action.

The Stewards interviewed P.D. Kennedy, rider of The Holy One, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg. 10 3.(g)(excessive frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

080D Keelings Irish Strawberry H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Not Many Left, ridden by R.M. Power, placed second, Off You Go, ridden by M.P. Walsh, placed third, Petit Mouchoir (FR), ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed fourth and Rashaan, ridden by D.N. Russell, placed first. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

Justice Leonie Reynolds, Chairman, absented herself from this enquiry and Justice Frank Clarke acted as Chairman.

080F BoyleSports Irish Grand National S'chase

The Stewards fined Edward Cawley, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared cheek pieces to Forever Gold, prior to entering the parade ring.

080G Fred Kenny Service To Racing Hcap Schase

The Stewards interviewed J.J. Slevin, rider of Goose Man, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg. 10 3.(g) (frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

D.J. Mullins, rider of Mac N Cheese trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his reins got caught under the breast plate which affecting his steering in this race.

080H Cawley Furniture (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined The Very Man, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to clinically abnormal post race.
