The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

P.J.Prendergast, trainer of Sunday Smart (declared in error) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

N.G. McCullagh rode La Novia (reserve), trained by M. Halford (Race 1)
P.J. Smullen rode Papa Stour (USA) (reserve), trained by Adrian Paul Keatley (Race 1)
R.P. Downey rode Benson Dubois (reserve), trained by Jane M. Foley (Race 6)

262A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Just Waterville, trained by William Durkan, as the vaccinations contained in the Passport for this horse were incorrect for the second successive occasion. Furthermore, in accordance with Rule 90, the Stewards fined the trainer €350.

262C Ballyhane Blenheim Stakes

P.J. Smullen, rider of Sollertia trained by Tracey Collins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her footing on the turn in and lost her action thereafter.

262D Your Clubs Fundraiser Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards interviewed J.T. Gorman, trainer of Caitie, who was the subject of a second vaccination check today. The vaccinations were in order on this occasion, however there appeared to be an issue arising from a previous inspection of the passport when the horse was in the care of a different trainer. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards allowed Caitie to run on this occassion and referred the matter to the Chief Executive of the Turf Club for further investigation.

262F Christmas Parties At Fairyhouse H'cap

G.P. Halpin, rider of Secret Existence trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

S.B. Kelly, rider of My Brother trained by Lee Smyth, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly to the right throughout.

262G Racing At Fairyhouse October 7th M'dn

C.D. Hayes, rider of Lady Kimberley, trained by W.T. Farrell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green.

262H Dandy Man M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Hushing (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third and Littlevix, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed fourth, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that G.F. Carroll was in breach of rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard suspended him for 1 raceday.
