G.P. Brouder, rider of Stamp Of Authority trained by Ian O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he had difficulty removing the hood at the start.

The Stewards interviewed G.P. Brouder, rider of Stamp Of Authority, trained by Ian O'Connor, concerning the report he furnished to the Clerk of the Scales regarding the difficulty he had removing the hood applied to Stamp Of Authority for stalls entry. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised G. P. Brouder to remove the hood in better time in future.

386B Ballyhane Stud (Fillies) M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Windsor Pass, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S. Foley, rider of Windsor Pass trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout and ran across the track.

386C Kilminfoyle House Stud H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Count Of Carabass trained by Miss Hilary McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly.

386D Tattersalls Ireland H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Cool Vixen trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount laboured all the way.

S. Foley, rider of Jensons Joy trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned right under pressure.

L.F. Roche, rider of Countess Matilda trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left for the last two furlongs.

A. J. Slattery, rider of Sunset Nova trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Stewards requested a report from Mark Fahey, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Clear Quartz, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mark Fahey stated that the application of first time cheek pieces coupled with a drop into this grade for the first time had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form when compared to its recent form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Faerie Laws trained by P.G. Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly turning in.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Poster Child, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
