The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Rachael Blackmore replaced M.J. Bolger on Night Sir, trained by Ms Helen P.Markham (Race 2)(Injured).
A.J. Fox rode Mister To Mister (reserve) , trained by Benjamin Arthey (Race 4)
R. Loughran replaced M.A. Enright on Shannon Dough (GB), trained by Mrs Denise Foster (Race 4)(Injured)
P.T. Enright replaced M.A. Enright on Fainne An Lae, trained by V. T. O'Brien (Race 5)(Injured)
Mr J.J. Codd replaced Mr E.P. O'Brien on Roisin's Delight, trained by Sean O. O'Brien (Race 7)(Injured).

013A Discounts @ fairyhouse.ie (M) M'dn H'dle

D.N. Russell, rider of Commeragh Trix trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

A.P. Heskin, rider of Danali, trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was brought down on the run 1st hurdle.

Mr E.P. O'Brien, rider of Caballo Sin Nombre, trained by Sean O. O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel in a tight bunch of horses on the run to the 1st hurdle, and slipped up. Having received this report, the Stewards took no further action.

D.J. Mullins, rider of Lasoscar trained by Liam P Cusack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very keen over the first 2 hurdles.

B. Hayes, rider of Mista Wabbit Man (GB) trained by R.Donohoe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

The Stewards interviewed M.W. Bowes, rider of Summit Point, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion M.W. Bowes was in breach of Regulation 10 3 (f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency and force, and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

R.Donohoe, trainer of Mista Wabbit Man (GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped wrong after this race

Eoin Gerard Barry, trainer of Big Vincey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped wrong post race

013F Bobbyjo Bistro Great Food H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed J.S. McGarvey, rider of Hurricane Ivan, placed second, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion J.S. McGarvey was in breach of Regulation 10 3 (f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

B.M. Cash, rider of De Glebe Star trained by Ms. Frances Slevin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount travelled to the third last, stopped quickly and made a noise and was pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined De Glebe Star, trained by Ms. Frances Slevin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be Post Race Normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

B. Hayes, rider of Glasslyn Road trained by James Daniel Dullea, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

A. Ring, rider of Diamond Shadow trained by L.Young, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel and was pulled up.

013G IrishStallionFarms EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of She's Otto, placed second, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion Mr P.W. Mullins was in breach of Regulation 10 4 in that he used his whip without giving his mount time to respond, and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

A representative of Roger Joseph McGrath, trainer, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge, Touch And Go, scoped wrong after this race.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Owing to the low lying sun and in the interests of safety, the Stewards gave permission for fence no. 5 to be omitted from races 1 and 2 and hurdle no. 5 to be omitted from races 3, 4 and 5.
