The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

John James Feane, trainer of Burn The Boats (Declared in error) - €200
J.F. Levins, trainer of El Tren (Going) - €200

143A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

D.M. Redmond, rider of Dream Of Words, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount changed her legs when hitting the ridges during the later stages of this race.

S. Foley, rider of Roman Gal, trained by M.Halford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hit some ridges during this race and ran green.

143C2 Summer Family Fun Day @ Fairyhouse H'cap

C. O'Donoghue, rider of Shawami, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was caught in a pocket and unable to deliver a challenge in the earlier part of the straight and was tight for room when an opening appeared entering the final furlong but the race was gone from him at that point.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Barrys Girl trained by Daniel William O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not get a clear run in the straight.

The Stewards fined John C. McConnell, trainer, €130 for failing to notify the Registry Office that his charge Nothing To Lose, placed first, had been gelded.

143D Club Or Charity Fundraisers (F) Race

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Virtudes, trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

W.J. Lee, rider of Virtudes trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount weakened when put under pressure.

143E Paul Kelly Veterinary Lets Go Grand Hcap

S. Foley, rider of Blairmayne trained by Miss Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled from half way.

143F Friday Night Racing At Fairyhouse H'cap

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the latter stages of this race involving Wild Irish Rose, ridden by Anastasia O'Brien, placed third and Thunder Crash, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, where it appeared Wild Irish Rose checked when Thunder Crash drifted away from the whip. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings' and took no further action. Mr G.V.Magee,Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Bottleofsmoke, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled on a ridge when rounding the home turn.
