176A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Cape Clear Island, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed first, Cape Wolfe (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fourth and Windsor Beach, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed second, where it appeared Cape Wolf (GB) ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Baldonnel (USA), trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with interference in the straight.

176B Lyrath Estate Hotel & Spa Ladies Day Hcp

The Stewards requested a report from G.M.Lyons, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Greek Canyon, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge was unsuited to a big field of runners over the straight course at the Curragh on his previous run. He felt that a combination of this, and a liking for todays course, had brought about todays improved performance. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

Tracey Collins, trainer of Pencil Hill, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday, 15th July that her charge got upset in the stalls and sustained a cut between his ears. The following morning there was swelling on the off side of his back.

176C Belgrave Stakes

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Russian Soul, ridden by S. Foley, placed second and Sailors Swan (USA), ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed fourth, where it appeared Sailors Swan (USA), ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised S. Foley to ride with more awareness in the future.

176D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Arakan Lilly trained by P.Meany, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost it's action.
