The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Kasbah trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount kicked out as the stalls opened.

342B Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med. Auct. M'dn

The Stewards fined W.J. Martin, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Bright Flame, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Bright Flame in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

342C2 Dundalk Stadium Apprentice H'cap

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Dolly Levi trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount reared up as the gates opened.

342E Irishinjuredjockeys.com H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the home turn involving Dawn Trouper, ridden by K.J. Manning and Schoolboy Error, ridden by C.P. Hoban, where it appeared that Schoolboy Error got bumped by Dawn Trouper. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise K.J. Manning to ride with more care in the future.

342F Happy Christmas From Dundalk Stadium Mdn

The Stewards interviewed D.P. McDonogh, rider of Chateau La Fleur, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that D.P. McDonagh was in breach of Regulation 10.4 in that he used his whip without giving his mount time to respond, and having considered his clean record in this regard cautioned D.P. McDonagh.

342G Crowne Plaza Jockey&Trainer Awards H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Reaver trained by Miss Ellmarie Holden, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount checked off heels 1 furlong down.
