The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

N.G. McCullagh replaced R.P. Whelan on Lady Epaulette, trained by P.J.Prendergast (Race 1)(Stewards' Permission).
J.A. Heffernan replaced G.F. Carroll on My Silver Nails, trained by Michael Mulvany (Race 1)(Stewards' Permission)
D.M. Melia rode Nelly Sarsfield, trained by Donal Kinsella (Race 5)(Stewards' Permission).

063C Kingbet H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Rubenesque, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was struck into, went lame and pulled up.

063E Crowne Plaza Dundalk Race & Stay H'cap

R.P. Downey, rider of World's Greatest (USA) trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room shortly after leaving stalls.

D.M. Melia, rider of Nelly Sarsfield, trained by Donal Kinsella, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount suffered slight interference on leaving stalls.

063F Parkview Provisions H'cap

The Stewards enquired into two incidents in the straight, the first involving Birthplace, ridden by J.A. Heffernan and Venezia, ridden by S. Foley; the second involving Catchy Lass, ridden by C.J. McGovern and Birthplace, ridden by J.A. Heffernan. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the first incident was caused by accidental interference and took no further action. They were however of the opinion C.J. McGovern was in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly in relation to the second incident and suspended him for 1 race day.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Abraham trained by J.R. Barry, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was accidentally struck by a whip approximately two furlongs from the finish.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Birthplace trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount received interference inside the final furlong.

063G Good Friday Greyhound Racing H'cap

S. Foley, rider of War Room trained by S.M.Duffy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung in the straight.

Tracey Collins, trainer of So Sensible, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her charge was endoscopically examined post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
