The Stewards requested a report from Michael C.Connell, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Singapore Secret, placed first, as compared with her recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on her last two starts, when running freely. He added that the filly settled better today and clearly benefited from the drop in trip. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

025G Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey&Trainer Hcap

The Stewards requested a report from Matthew J. Smith, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Shalaman, placed first, as compared with his recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on his last start in November for no obvious reason. He added that the horse was given a break and freshened up since which appears to have helped the horse rediscover his form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

Sabrina J. Harty, trainer of Ned's Indian, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her charge was lame post race.
