The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.P. Hoban rode Calypso Jo (GB) (reserve) , trained by Damian Joseph English (Race 5)

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Itschessnotchekers, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed sixth, Brass Button, ridden by K.J. Leonard, unplaced and Dancing D Queen, ridden by L.F. Roche, unplaced, where it appeared that Brass Button ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found R.P. Whelan to be in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his previous record in this regard, the Stewards suspended R.P. Whelan for two racedays.

G.P. Halpin, rider of Viva Italia trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount dwelt in the stalls.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Wild Shot (GB), trained by Damian Joseph English, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving So Sensible, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed fourth, Bluesbreaker, ridden by S.M. Mooney, placed sixth and Latchet, ridden by K.J. Manning, unplaced, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Prove The Point trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount banged her head in the stalls and never travelled as a result.

The Stewards informed John James Feane, trainer, that Lyfka (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards interviewed C.T. Keane, rider of Silk Cravat (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found C.T. Keane to be in breach of Regulation 10.3 (a) in that he used his whip in front of the saddle while held in the forehand position. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended C.T. Keane for one raceday.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Analytical Mindset, trained by R.P. McNamara, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
