The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R. P. Cleary rode Cdancer (reserve) , trained by T.G.McCourt (Race 1).
M. C. Hussey replaced S.B. Kelly on Beuno Cailin, trained by Eamonn O'Connell (Race 3)(Injury).
J. P. O'Brien rode Copper Dock (reserve) , trained by T.G.McCourt (Race 3).
D. P. McDonogh rode Relay (GB) (reserve) , trained by J.T.Gorman (Race 5).

327B Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey Rated Race

F. Lynch, rider of Sylvan Mist, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran too free.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sylvan Mist, trained by Edward Lynam, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

327C Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay H'cap

The Stewards interviewed Adrian Brendan Joyce, trainer of Times In Anatefka, regarding the late arrival of the horse into the Parade Ring and the horse being mounted in the chute adjacent to the track without permission of the Stewards. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that he was delayed bringing the horse into the parade ring due to difficulty attaching the tongue strap, he also apologised for mounting his horse in the chute adjacent to the track without permission. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found Adrian Brendan Joyce in breach of Rule 32 (x) and severely cautioned him regarding his responsibilities in this regard.

The Stewards informed Eamonn O'Connell, trainer that Beuno Cailin, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

327D Christmas Party Packages Nursery H'cap

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the early stages of this race involving Fight U For It, ridden by C.D. Hayes and Romantic Melody, ridden by D.M. Grant. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found C. D. Hayes in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.

F. Lynch, rider of The Grey Horseman, trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very keen.

327E(ii) www.dundalkstadium.com H'cap (Division Two)

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Valley Queen (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, Tsar Paul, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, unplaced, Miller Beach (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, winner, California Rose (GB), ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, Burnwynd Boy (GB), ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced, Dancingwithangels, ridden by C.R. King, placed fourth, Harmonie, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced and Try Freedom, ridden by F. Lynch, unplaced. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and deemed the interference to have been caused by general bunching and took no further action.
