The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

W.M. Lordan rode Bobs Authority (reserve) , trained by Lee Smyth (Race 7)

The Stewards fined Thomas Cleary, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Bruinneall, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Bruinneall in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Elysees Palace (GB), trained by Sir Mark Prescott Bt (in GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount finished lame.

Mr. B. Jones, Racecourse Veterinary Surgeon reported to the Stewards that Elysees Palace (GB) trained by Sir Mark Prescott Bt (in GB) was lame on his near fore leg post race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the first bend involving Sharjah, ridden by A.J. Slattery, Mistiness, ridden by R.C. Colgan, New Vocation, ridden by W.T. Byrne, and Oromo, ridden by B.M. Coen, where it appeared New Vocation ran out of room on the rails and Oromo was forced to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A.J. Slattery gave his evidence in the presence of A. Slattery. B.M. Coen gave his evidence in the presence of J.F. Levins. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found R.C. Colgan in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his previous record into account suspended him for one race day.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Pact Of Steel (GB) trained by F.Birrane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got squeezed for room after a furlong and a half and never travelled thereafter.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Crossingoz, trained by William J. Fitzpatrick, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

C.P. Hoban, rider of Crossingoz trained by William J. Fitzpatrick, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up after losing its action.
