The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A. J. Breslin replaced D.M. Grant on Inishmacateer, trained by Patrick Martin (Race 1)(Stewards permission)
L.F. Roche replaced D.M. Grant on Jindabyne, trained by Patrick J.Flynn (Race 3)(Stewards permission)
P.J. Smullen replaced D.M. Grant on Hes Our Music, trained by Patrick J.Flynn (Race 4)(Stewards permission)
R.P. Whelan rode Havelock Ellis (GB) (reserve), trained by J.F. Levins (Race 6).
R.P. Cleary replaced D.M. Grant on Danse Rouge, trained by Patrick J.Flynn (Race 7)(Stewards permission).

247A Cara Cancer Support Fundraiser H'cap

The Stewards interviewed A.J. Breslin, rider of Inishmacateer, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(b) in that he had continued to use his whip unnecessarily, after his chance of winning or being placed had clearly gone. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for one raceday.

247D Total Produce Rated Race

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Victorious Secret, trained by T. Stack, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

247E DLK Quality Fuels Apprentice M'dn

The Stewards interviewed Kieran Fanning, Authorised Representative for T.J. O'Mara, trainer, in relation to a report received from The Turf Club Veterinary Officer, Ms. Joan Taylor, that Delta Crucis (USA), appeared on both the passport and race card as a colt despite being gelded. Evidence was heard from Mr. Fanning, who explained that this was an oversight on the trainers part and apologised for this. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the trainer was in breach of Rule 148(vi) and fined him €130 through his representative.

247F2 Ecological Waste Management Ltd H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sapphirine, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

N.G. McCullagh, rider of Sapphirine trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action.

247G Bar One Racing H'cap

K.J. Manning, rider of No Cash Flow, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left for most of the race.
