The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.P. Downey rode Ice Ice Baby (GB) (reserve) , trained by F.Oakes (Race 6)
L.F. Roche rode Sister Slew (reserve) , trained by Shane Nolan (Race 8)
R.D. Dolan replaced K.J. Leonard on Snoqualmie Chief (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness (Race 5)(Unwell)
K.P. Moriarty replaced K.J. Leonard on Sinndar Sandy, trained by M.J. Tynan (Race 8)(Unwell)

330C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

F.M. Berry, rider of Love Potion trained by David Wachman, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

330E(i) Leading Jockey & Trainer Apprentice Hcap (Division One)

Gary Paul Halpin, rider of That's Ours (USA), trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.

The Stewards enquired into an incident at the first bend involving Ridestan, ridden by D.P. Linehan, Empresario, ridden by C.J. McGovern, Hatch Hall (GB), ridden by C.R. King, Ondamoura, ridden by S. Corby, Banker Burke, ridden by R. Coakley, and Danequest, ridden by R.P. Downey, where it appeared Ridestan and Banker Burke ran short of room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.P. Linehan attended this enquiry accompanied by K.H. Clarke. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards apportioned no blame to any individual rider and took no further action.

330E(ii) Leading Jockey & Trainer Apprentice Hcap (Division Two)

The Stewards interviewed J.M. Conneely, rider of Rawaafed, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found J.M. Conneely in breach of Reg 10 3.(b) by continuing to use his whip after his chance had clearly gone and having taken his record into account suspended him for two race days.

K.J. Manning, rider of Heavy Weight trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with trouble turning into the straight.
