307A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident early in the home straight involving Khwarizmi (USA), ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed second, Patrice's Wish (GB), ridden by S. Foley, placed fourth and Rachel Ruysch, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed sixth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise D.P. McDonogh to ride with more care in the future. Mr. S. Collins Acting Steward absented himself from this enquiry.

307B Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that following an inspection of the passport of Eleuthera(GB), trained by J.F. Levins, the animal was shown to have been vaccinated within 7 days. Having considered the report, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Eleuthera(GB) under the provisions of Rule 91(i)and took no further action.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Peace Mission, trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

307C Dundalk Stadium Claiming Race

The Stewards informed Anthony McCann, trainer that Turfjager (GER), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

307D Floodlit Friday Nights M'dn

The Stewards fined Mrs John Harrington, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Spring Garden, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Pivotal Connection (GB) trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was checked after 100 yards.

S. Foley, rider of Spring Garden trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned left in the early part of this race.

The Stewards interviewed S. Foley, rider of Spring Garden, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the start and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards were of the opinion that the S. Foley was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered his record, suspended him for 1 raceday.

307E(ii) Irishinjuredjockeys.com H'cap (Division Two)

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the early stages of this race involving Evies Wish, ridden by D.P. Linehan, Streisand, ridden by T.P. Madden, Glenmoore(GB), ridden by P.B. Beggy, Nightflight, ridden by E.T. Daly and Mostawfee, ridden by B.M. Coen. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of Andrew Slattery, master of B.M. Coen and Bernard Caldwell, representing G.M Lyons master of E.T. Daly. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that P.B. Beggy was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridded carelessly. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays.

E.T. Daly, rider of Nightflight trained by Joseph Anthony Murray, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room in the early stages.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Teenage Kiss trained by Jane M. Foley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

The Stewards interviewed K.K. Hennessy, rider of Molten Gold (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(b), in that he had unnecessarily used his whip after his chance of winning or being placed had clearly gone. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended K.K. Hennessy for 3 racedays.

307G Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk H'cap

G.P. Halpin, rider of Secret Existence trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room in the straight.

The Stewards enquired into an incident involving Lusis Naturea (GB), ridden by C. Heavey, Oakmont (FR), ridden by Amy O'Hanlon, Muniza, ridden by P.J. Smullen, and Black Label (GB), ridden by C.P. Hoban. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action. Mr. S. Collins Acting Steward absented himself from this enquiry.
