The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

F.M. Berry rode Shinyhappyjohn (GB) (reserve) , trained by J.A. Nash (Race 5)
F.F. Da Silva rode Pao De Acuca (reserve) , trained by Takashi Kodama (Race 7).

R. Coakley, rider of Elusive Sally, trained by Ms. Ann R. Reilly, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount moved poorly throughout.

The Stewards interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Tithonus, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found J.A. Heffernan in breach of Reg 10. 4. by failing to give his mount time to respond and having taken his record into account the Stewards cautioned him regarding his future whip use.

The Stewards interviewed R.D. Dolan, rider of Ace Of Arts, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found R.D. Dolan in breach of Reg 10 3(b) by continuing to use his whip after his chance had gone and having taken his record into account the Stewards cautioned him regarding his future whip use.

F.M. Berry, rider of Pretty Famous trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

299G1 Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk H'cap

The Stewards interviewed Christina Simpson, rider of Bad News Bear, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that she used her whip as her mount was hanging in the straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg. 10 3 (b) by continuing to use her whip when her chance was gone and having taken her record into account suspended her for three race days. Furthermore the Stewards found the rider in breach of Rule 213 by failing to report in the first instance anything that may have affected the running of her horse in this race and having taken her record into account the Stewards cautioned her regarding her responsibilities in this regard.

299G2 Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk H'cap

Anastasia O'Brien, rider of Along The Shore trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount hung badly in the straight.

F.M. Berry, rider of Tom Mann, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped travelling in the straight.
