The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. E. Sheehy rode Punters Poet (reserve), trained by Matthew J. Smith (Race 2).
S. M. Crosse rode Mr Virtuoso (reserve), trained by Aidan F. Fogarty (Race 5)
Sam Ewing replaced G.M. Ryan on Bader Ginsburg, trained by Adrian McGuinness (Race 3)(injured)
M. P. Sheehy replaced A.C. Persse on Hala Joud, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 6)(Injured)
M. P. Sheehy replaced A.C. Persse on Tonkinese (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 8)(Injured)

The Stewards interviewed R.P. Cleary, rider of Woodrow, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found R. P. Cleary in breach of regulation 10.3.(g), excessive frequency and 10.3.(i), time to respond. Having considered R. P. Cleary's record in this regard the Stewards suspended him for three racedays.

The Stewards requested a report from Kieran P. Cotter, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Dandy Spirit, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Kieran P. Cotter stated that a drop back in trip had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

Kieran P. Cotter, trainer of Dandy Spirit, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board that his charge benefited from a drop back in trip today.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Tham Luang, ridden by Sam Ewing, placed second, Aldente, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, placed first, and Punters Poet, ridden by D. E. Sheehy, unplaced, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings. Furthermore, as G. M. Ryan and A. C. Persse were unable to attend this enquiry, the Stewards, under the provisions of Rule 14 (ii) (b), referred the matter to the C.E.O of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board for further investigation. K. O'Ryan accompanied Sam Ewing at this enquiry.

At the request of the Stewards, W.M. Lordan, rider of Bynx, trained by Martin Hassett, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very raw and green and took a long time to get organised in the straight.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Dha Leath, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed second, Summer Ambition, ridden by C.P. Hoban, unplaced and Cornice, ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced, where it appeared that Summer Ambition got tight for room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found J. M. Sheridan in breach of rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered J. M. Sheridan's record in this regard the Stewards suspended him for three racedays.

L.F. Roche, rider of With A Start trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
