The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer of Intifadah (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

O.J. Orr rode Victor's Beach (reserve) , trained by Mark Michael McNiff (Race 4)

326A Big Bad Bob M'dn

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Up Up And Away, trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

326B Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Tracey Collins, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Chiclet, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that her charge disappointed on her last start when running too freely. She added that today's change in tactics by riding her from the front, helped her charge settle better and return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Danz Gift, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly in the straight.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Burren View Lady, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was leaning right in the straight.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Danz Gift, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

326D(ii) CrownePlaza Leading Jockey&Trainer H'cap (Division Two)

P.B. Beggy, rider of Solar Benny trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly throughout.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Solar Benny, trained by Keith Henry Clarke, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame post race.

326E Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards fined J.P. Murtagh, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Sister Blandina, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
