015A Meridian Security H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Ms. Sheila Lavery, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Danz Gift, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Ms. Sheila Lavery reported that her charge got a bump early on during his last race which lit him up and he ran free which effectively ended whatever chance that he had whereas today he missed the break, settled well and came with one challenge in the closing stages. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

N.G. McCullagh, rider of Ken's Sam's trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was unable to deliver a challenge as she did not have much racing room from two and a half to one and a half furlongs from the finish.

015B LMFM Radio Apprentice M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Albert Cashier, ridden by K.K. Hennessy, unplaced, Dandy Rock, ridden by C.J. McGovern, placed fifth and Qatar Delight (GB), ridden by D.P. Linehan, placed sixth, where it appeared that Dandy Rock ran short of room and stumbled. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action.

C.J. McGovern, rider of Dandy Rock, trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran short of room in the back straight, clipped a heel and stumbled.

015C Kelleher Insurances Rated Race

M.Halford, trainer of Time Constraints (USA), reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Monday 30th January that his charge scoped dirty on the morning after this race.

015D TEC Electric H'cap

P.J. Smullen, rider of Red Avenger (USA), trained by Damian Joseph English, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount reared up just as the stalls opened and lost considerable ground.

015F1 Shabra Charity Foundation H'cap

The Stewards interviewed Michelle Hamilton, rider of Angie's Angel, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Michelle Hamilton was in breach of R10(3)(b) by the unnecessary use of the whip when her chance of winning or being placed was clearly gone and suspended her for 1 raceday having taken her previous record into consideration.

015G BK Forklifts H'cap

Anastasia O'Brien, rider of War Goddess, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount got no run in the straight.

W.J. Lee, rider of Gold Struck (GB), trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a respiratory noise from four furlongs out.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the last 150 yards involving Ruby Gates, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed second and Serefeli, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed first, where it appeared that Serefeli drifted towards Ruby Gates. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings' and took no further action.
