The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

P.D. Deegan, trainer of Milish (declared in error) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Tom Madden replaced Chloe Cahalan on Trinity Rules, trained by Kieran P. Cotter (Race 4)(Stewards permission).
D.P.Lenihan replaced M.K. O'Sullivan on Appointment Only (GB), trained by John Joseph Murphy (Race 3)(injured).
Oisin Orr replaced J.W. Kennedy on Shabra Emperor, trained by Anthony McCann (Race 5)(injured)

266B Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med. Auct. M'dn

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Quick Chat (USA), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a nasal discharge post race.

L.F. Roche, rider of Quick Chat (USA), trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran freely.

266C Dundalk Stadium M'dn

The Stewards attempted to interview D.P. McDonogh, rider of Flowerhill Nova, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. However, the rider had left the track before the Stewards were able to interview him and they therefore referred the matter to the Chief Executive of the turf club for further investigation.

266D2 Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from P.D. Deegan, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Three Majors, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on his last few starts on ground softer than ideal. He added that the return to a quicker surface, the application of cheekpieces and a more prominent ride were all factors that may have contributed to the return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanations offered.

266F Dundalk Stadium Light Up Your Night Race

The Stewards interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Bravery, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g), in that he used the whip with his arm above shoulder height and having considered his record, suspended him for two race days.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Tarazani, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
